Artist's Comments asked me if I had any pencils for him to practice inking on, specifically 2000ad based stuff. I didn't but I wanted to help out so I quickly knocked this out. It's Kano frrom Bad Company. You never heard of Bad Company you say? Well in that case you suck! Not only was it written by the phenomenal Pete Milligan, but it boasted art by Brett Ewins with inks by Jim McCarthy (Brendan's brother). Brett Ewins was a huge influence on my developing art style, in fact you may have noticed shades of Kano in my Frank picture I posted earlier today. Kano is essentially a modern reimagining of Frankenstein's monster. I shall probably get round to inking this myself some day. |
